Dr. Abhishek Kothari graduated from Coimbatore Medical College and completed his Ophthalmology residency at S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur. He furthered his expertise with a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, followed by work at the prestigious Aravind Eye Care System, Coimbatore. Specializing in complex vitreoretinal surgeries, he handles retinal detachment, vasculopathy, pediatric vitreoretinal surgery, ocular trauma, and reconstruction. Dr. Kothari has earned numerous awards and recognition, including national and international honors. He has published extensively, is the chief editor of a textbook on vitreoretinal surgery, and is involved in cutting-edge research and teaching at various institutes.
